I CAN HELP WITH THAT.
Blogging is both easy and difficult. It’s wonderful and horrible. It’s rewarding and disappointing.
In short, blogging is a lot like life.
If you’re wandering around without direction, without guidance, without purpose… blogging can be one of the most frustrating tasks you will attempt in your entire life.
The good news?
Just like in life, you’re not in this alone…
More than 20,505 people just like you follow my wife’s blogger.
(That’s me – in case that wasn’t clear.)
My name is Kevin Duncan. I’ve been blogging for over ten years, and I’ve had the pleasure of learning from some of the sharpest minds on the web.
For half my blogging career, I ran a humor blog. Combine this with my three years as a high school teacher; my Master’s in Computer Science that cost way, way too much money; and my 13 years of experience as a web developer, and you get quite the unorthodox background.
But that’s okay. My writing style is unorthodox, too.
I want to entertain you and make you laugh as much as I want to teach and inspire you. I want you to enjoy my posts so much, you don’t even realize right away I’ve taught you anything.
But don’t take my word for it. Listen to what these floating heads have to say…
“Wow! If you blog and don’t read @kevinjduncan you are crazy.” – Amy Harrison / HarrisonAmy
“This is the only blog I’ve joined in nine years of blogging 'just because.'” – Jaime Buckley / Wanted Hero
“Kevin is one the best bloggers out there and has built a phenomenal blog.” – Don Purdum / Unveil the Web
“Kevin’s amazing writing, hilarious wit, and impeccable facial features have changed my life.”
– Devin Kuncan / Blogging Aficionado
(That last one is definitely not me wearing a fake mustache, by the way.)
Each post you find on Be A Better Blogger is designed to aid you in your blogging journey. Sometimes you’ll leave having learned something new. Sometimes you’ll leave motivated. Sometimes you’ll leave with a pulled ribcage muscle.
And, hopefully, you’ll always leave inspired.
Have an awesome day, my friend.
I’m rooting for you…
– Kevin Duncan
