Ugh. Affiliate links. Am I right?
They can be so annoying. Of course, the primary reason they’re annoying is — on a typical blog — you can never tell what’s an affiliate link and what isn’t.
Well, I do have affiliate links sometimes within posts here. However, I promise to always make it obvious. For example, if you see the following in a post…
I use AWeber for my email list! They are better than kittens and rainbows! I once registered an email address for a dead plant of mine, had the email address subscribe to my AWeber mailing list, and the plant came back to life! True story!”
…and I link to AWeber, you’ll know whether it’s an affiliate link or not because my affiliate links look like this: AWeber [affiliate link].
The words “affiliate link” will follow, in braces, all my affiliate links. And when you hover your mouse over an affiliate link of mine, it will say it’s an affiliate link.
No tricks. No misconceptions.

Affiliate links are tracking links. It allows companies, such as AWeber, to know who is referring people to them. So, if you click on my AWeber [affiliate link] and you end up signing up for AWeber’s great email marketing service, I will receive a commission.
Most affiliate policy pages are much shorter than this. Can you please wrap it up?
